Objective W-1. Improve, maintain, and protect habitat for fish and wildlife, riparian vegetation, and soil resources in the watersheds by implementing at least 2 projects per year that focus on these habitats. 1. Develop a prioritized list of watershed health protection and restoration projects for each of the watersheds beginning by participating in The Nature Conservancy's Conservation Action Plan for the Salmon River watershed.
2. Facilitate implementation of Lower Salmon River Estuary Plan priority restoration projects.
3. Submit funding proposals for top 2 projects from list for implementation in 2008
4. Develop evaluation criteria for specific project proposals
5. Address the priority habitat issues by implementing restoration projects identified in the plan if funded (i.e. culvert upgrades, large wood placement, vegetation management, riparian planting, etc.).

Objective E-5. Objective C-1: Sponsor at least 4 outdoor recreational and educational events per year to showcase problem areas and success stories. 1. Work with other groups (e.g. TNC, USFS, DLWID, Audubon) to organize hikes, watershed tours, kayak trips, visitis to fish traps, trip to Valley of the Giants, tour of USFS thinning sites, etc.
2. Involve volunteers in hands on, on-the-ground restoration projects.
