Lower Drift Creek Planning Process

SDCWC helped to host a series of public outreach events on a current effort in the Siletz Bay National Wildlife Refuge.  This planning process is providing information and seeking input on restoration and flood reduction opportunities on three tracts of land in the lower reach of Drift Creek.

watersheds Year in review

Although 2020 presented many challenges for our community and environment, the SDCWC was able to report good progress in many of the local watersheds. Projects included work in the Salmon River, Schooner Creek, and Drift Creek for habitat restoration, sediment reduction, and planning steps for the future.
